Ibu Robin Lim CPM is a Filipino–American midwife, mother, grandmother, and founder of Yayasan Bumi Sehat a non-profit organization in Indonesia. Lim also serves on the board of Bumi–Wadah Philippines, where she is known as “Lola Robin.” Her Passion is Human Rights in Childbirth. She believes that each individual is an essential “Piece of Peace” therefore by protecting the mothers in childbirth and the newborns (our smallest citizens of Earth) we may build peace, one Baby, one Mother, one Family at a time.
I imagine a world in which all humans are born with an intact capacity to love, and I am willing to devote my life to making it happen.
I became a fierce advocate for gentle birth as a solution for the most pressing problems of our times – a solution that begins at the source… Birth.
Birthing is the most profound initiation to spirituality a woman can have.
Every baby’s first breath on Earth could be one of peace and love. Every mother should be healthy and strong. Every birth could be safe and loving. But our world is not there yet
Women will always pay the price for love, that is why God makes us so much stronger than men.
I came to the conclusion that bringing Humans to earth with an intact ability to LOVE is essential if we are to survive as a species.
The Babies have Taught me the the world is worth saving.
A mother is pregnant for nine months… she is postpartum for the rest of her life.
Mother Nature and Father Time teach us to Love and Respect Women in Childbirth. This is how we can build Peace on Earth… one Baby, one Mother, one Family at a time.
